Class Policies
Billing
We require a card on file and will run payments on first of each month. Enrollment is ongoing, and you are considered enrolled in the program until you officially drop. Accounts with unpaid balances by the 8th of the month will be dropped from class.
Payment Options
We are a cashless facility. Credit/debit cards are the only accepted forms of payment. Tuition will run on the first of each month.
Class Cancellation
If you would like to drop, please notify our hospitality staff by at least the 25th of the month in order to discontinue classes for the following month. (Ex: if you’d like to drop for February, you’d need to notify us by Jan. 25).
This must be submitted in writing to hey@happygymdenver.com.
As of the 26th of the month, you are committed for the following month and tuition fees will be posted. We do not accommodate refunds.
Parents Onsite + Potty
Please arrive about 5 minutes prior to class starting, and encourage your gymnast to use the restroom before class. Parents are highly encouraged to remain at the gym during your child’s gymnastics classes.
Our bathrooms are a slight distance from the gym space, so it is important to have a parent there to take gymnasts to the bathroom if needed.
Leotards are tricky to maneuver when you’re a preschooler! :) They'll need your help, so it's great to be close by.
Make Up Class Policy
Tuition secures your child’s spot in their regularly scheduled class for the month in which it is paid.
We offer one make-up class per month, space permitting. Make-up classes may be scheduled in advance if you know your child will miss class (for example, due to a planned vacation).
Make-up class tokens remain active on your account for one month from the date of the absence.
Make-up classes:
- Are not guaranteed and are subject to availability, current enrollment, and maintaining safe class ratios
- Cannot be used as a credit toward tuition
- May only be used while your child is actively enrolled
If you withdraw from the program, any unused make-up tokens dissolve and cannot be used.
Make-up classes can be scheduled through your parent portal or with assistance from our hospitality team.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, we follow Denver Public Schools closures. We will notify you of any class cancellations and provide options for makeup classes.
This may vary for morning and evening classes. For example, we may be closed for morning classes, but open for afternoon. We will notify you via email and social media.
Illness Policy
Your child’s health is incredibly important and we strive to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our gymnasts and families.
Having a healthy gym community is a team effort. Our health and wellness policies are in alignment with Denver Public Schools.
Happy Gym's illness policy is to protect the health of students, staff and families by ensuring that students who are sick are able to recover and not spread illness to others:
- Fever: Students should be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning to school. Do not bring your child to the gym if they are sick.
- Medications: Do not give your child medication to mask symptoms before sending them to class.
- Miss a class: Students who are unwell can schedule a make up class via the parent portal or by reaching out to hey@happygymdenver.com
To help keep kids healthy, as a team, we wipe down mats, teaching manipulatives and ‘high touch’ areas at least twice a day. In addition, we continually wash our own hands, and use hand sanitizer.
